If I Must...

H'ok. So. I haven't been on here in years. Literally. But then Anna decided to challenge me, so I must step forward:

The Rules:List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they’re not any good, but they must be songs you’re really enjoying now, shaping your spring summer. Post these instructions in your blog along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they’re listening to.

1. "Can't Stop" by Maroon 5. I don't know why but it just seemed to fit for me. It sounds a lot like how I used to feel about a certain someone. But that's gone. So yeah...on to #2...

2. "Never See Your Face Again" by Maroon 5. Same band, same dude it reminds me of. Weird. Plus I just made a fun video to it not too long ago. That, and I'm kinda addicted to the CD at the moment. =P

3. "Shake It" by Metro Station. Yeah. Scary isn't it? I swear, the first time I heard this song I laughed. I hated it. I listened to it about three more times on the radio between Ohio and here and then I loved it. Funny how Ohio can warp the mind.

4. "Ten Years Gone" by Led Zeppelin. Ok, so this described my winter/spring and it's continuing into spring/summer. Yeah. I love it, get over it.

5. "How I Saved Roosevelt / Ballad of Guiteau" from Assassins. Ok, so that's technically two songs, but I believe they should be listed as one. Anna got me started on the musical while we were in Starkville, but I really got to love it at work where it has become one of my favorite CDs on my computer. I'm already figuring out how to direct it. I want to direct this show SOOO bad...if I can't be in it. =)

6. "Saved Again" by someone I don't remember. I first heard this from Ryan's mix and it became stuck in my head. So I listened to it over and over and over. Quite fun and annoying to others at the same time. But I love the lyrics and I love the beat.

7. "Love Song" again, don't know who sings it. It's another new song that normally I probably wouldn't like. But I love it and I need to get it on CD or download it from iTunes or something. The lyrics just fit my mood.

Now to come up with people. Should be fun since nobody reads my blogs:

Courtney
Ryan
Travis
(can't use Anna again...darn...)
Ava
Kelli
Kate
Nick

Ha. I bet none will post.

Cause you had a bad day...

Well, more like a bad week. This has certainly been one of those rollercoaster weeks. It's wonderful to know that school is almost over, and I only have one year left before college. But it was also very depressing. For one, my pet bird, Sky, died on Wednesday. It seemed that everyone wanted to talk about birds that day though I hadn't told anybody about it at the time. Then I told the boy I loved that I loved him, and I don't think he wanted to hear it. Oh well, that didn't depress me too much actually. What depressed me the most was the fact all of my senior friends were leaving. Then I found out there are some pretty bad fights going on in my family behind my back. There's not much I can do about it. I just have to wait till it clears up. Then I nearly lost one of my friends. He had a horrible car accident yesterday, but he survived it. While it gave him a new awakening, it also made me realize how quickly life can be taken from a person...Now I must await the horrors of next week...FINALS...But after everything that's happend, I think I'll be able to manage...

Prom Night...

It's hard to believe it has almost been a week since prom. It was very eventful. My date spent most of his time with his girlfriend who came with my ex-boyfriend. Then they left me. Alot of people think I'm crazy for not being really upset and p-oed at them, but were they really in the wrong? Anyways, it was really a mixed blessing. I got to dance with the guy I've liked for over two years for quite a while. At the beginning the perfect song played as I watched my crush dance with another girl...

"You're beautiful. You're beautiful.You're beautiful, it's true.I saw you face in a crowded place,And I don't know what to do,'Cause I'll never be with you."

But then when my date left, my crush found me and danced with me, then another perfect song came on....

"You're all I'm thinking of,
I praise the Lord above,
For sending me your love,
I cherish every hug,
I really love you
And all my life, baby, baby,
I've prayed for someone like you,
And I thank God that I,
that I finally found you, baby
All my life I've prayed for someone like you
And I hope that you feel the same way too
Yes, I pray that you do, love me
You're all that I ever known,
when you smile on your face all I see is a glow,
You picked me up when I was down
You're all that I ever known,
when you smile on your face all I see is a glow,
You picked me up when I was down
and I hope that you feel the same way too,
Yes I pray that you do love me too
All my life, I've prayed for someone like you,
And I thank God that I,
that I finally found you
All my life I've prayed for someone like you
Yes, I pray that you do love me too"

This is a test

You Are 32% Evil
A bit of evil lurks in your heart, but you hide it well.In some ways, you are the most dangerous kind of evil.

Woot! It's Party Time!!!!

Another depressing ending, only for a new beginning...

Well, Saturday was the last performance of The Good Doctor. Yes, no more Madame B yelling at Cherdyakov. We did have a good run though. Now we are going to be starting the Orestia or Our Town. We're not too sure which. It all depends on how many guys we have.Which we don't have many...Oh well.

A Really Cool Song That I Love to Listen to....(It's great for this rainy day...)

There's a window by the bedroom door that never will be opened
If you spend the whole day looking out and never look within
And your lover and your mother and your father have been hopin'
That you find the truths you're looking for by searching deep within
So sad about me, so sad about me, so sad about me
I'm sad about you
There's a reason why the sunrise sets and friends and loved ones leave us
There's a method to the madness like a future to your past
And your lover and your brother and your sister should believe us
'cause the mysteries beyond our reach are firmly in our grasp (Anything is possible)
so sad about me, so sad about me, so sad about me
I'm sad about you
In the morning when you wake yourself you wonder what you're doing
as you rub your eyes so violently while falling out of bed
Is there nothing educational in words that you are chewing
as you seek the soothing solace of a friendly shower head
But I really must admit that I am glad that I am living
There were times when I would pray to God and ask that I was not
And I've learned that taking isn't really half as much as giving
But the secret to your wisdom is the oneness in your soul.
